Mr. Mika is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation – the only Elder Law certification recognized by the American Bar Association. He is an advocate for senior citizens and disabled individuals and devotes much of his practice to assisting seniors and their families in determining their long-term care needs and eligibility for various types of public benefits, including Medicaid and Medicare. Mr. Mika also maintains an extensive practice representing executors and personal representatives in “after-death” administration and probate of wills and inheritance tax issues. Mr. Mika is a frequent lecturer on Estate Planning matters for individuals of all ages.
