J.T. Herber III

While attending Wake Forest, he participated in the Litigation Clinic, and was also active in Moot Court. In the Litigation Clinic, J.T. received experience litigating civil cases through Legal Aid of North Carolina, as well as prosecuting cases with the Forsyth County District Attorneys Office. As a member of Moot Court, he competed in the Stetson International Environmental Law Competition, and was also the student coach of the Jessup International Law Competition. Additionally, J.T. spent one summer as an intern with the Forsyth County District Attorneys Office, assisting in the preparation of various prosecutions, including drug trafficking and felony murder cases, and another summer working at Williamson, Friedberg & Jones, LLC.
As an attorney at Williamson, Friedberg & Jones, his primary areas of practice include litigation, bankruptcy, real estate as well as wills, estates and trusts. Some areas of litigation in which he frequently represents clients include contract and business disputes, construction litigation, personal injury, real estate litigation, insurance defense, and debtor/creditor situations. J.T has represented clients in Schuylkill County, Lebanon County, Berks County, Lancaster County, Dauphin County, Lehigh County, Chester County and various other counties throughout eastern Pennsylvania. J.T. is licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
In addition, J.T. regularly presents programs in local schools regarding different topics of interest, which include educating high school students about their rights and responsibilities, and programs regarding legal careers.
Outside of the legal practice, he is the Captain of the Hose, Hook & Ladder Fire Company #1, serves as the company's grant writer, and has attained Firefighter I certification.
