Julie A. Werdt
Julie A. Werdt graduated from Pine Grove Area High School in 1998, after which she attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, where she majored in Art History and Business. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, she attended Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she received recognition for academic achievement in the area of State Constitutional Law.
While attending Widener, she volunteered her time at the YWCA Legal Clinic, Harrisburg, and gained experience in the area of family law with matters such as divorce, child custody, Protection From Abuse actions, and child and spousal support.
After graduating from Widener, Julie worked for two years as Staff Attorney to the Honorable William E. Baldwin, President Judge of the Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas. In September of 2008, Julie joined Williamson, Friedberg & Jones, LLC and currently practices in the areas of Family Law, Wills and Trusts, and Personal Injury.

In addition, Julie coaches the Blue Mountain High School Mock Trial Team, consisting of students from Orwigsburg, Schuylkill Haven, Pottsville, New Ringgold, Auburn and Cressona. The Mock Trial Team provides students with an opportunity to learn about the legal system and trial practice by having them simulate a trial.
Julie is a member of the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Schuylkill County Bar Association where serves on the Public Relations Committee which seeks to promote attorney involvement and outreach in the Schuylkill County area.
