Michael was born and raised in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, the son of two public school teachers. After high school, Michael attended Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2008 in the field of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Prior to attending law school, Michael volunteered with the American Red Cross, Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter, as part of the AmeriCorps program, during which he responded to over fifty house fires in and around the City of Philadelphia.

At law school, Michael received awards for his academic achievement in the field of land use planning, as well as for his scholarship on Pennsylvania’s Abandoned and Blighted Property Conservatorship Act, 68 P.S. § 1101 et seq. In addition to the above, Michael’s coursework included a particular emphasis in the areas of taxation and real estate transactions.

Michael began his career at a Center City Philadelphia full-service real estate boutique law firm, where he represented individuals, business owners, and real estate developers in such areas as zoning and real estate development, real estate law, planned community law, business formation/general business law, business and real estate tax matters.

Michael resides in Lebanon County with his wife and daughter.
