Williamson, Friedberg & Jones, LLC is the largest and oldest law firm in Schuylkill County. Our attorneys maintain full-time offices in Pottsville, and Shenandoah. The attorneys also have offices that are open by appointment in Pine Grove, Orwigsburg, Hegins, and Williamstown.
The Litigation Division provides representation in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, and Family Law/Domestic Relations as well as a wide variety of other disputes. The Estate and Trust Division handles Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Elder Law. The Financial/Corporate Division practices Corporate Law, Commercial Finance, Business Law, Municipal Law, and Insurance Law.
Attorneys within the firm also actively handle Bankruptcy, Zoning, and Real Estate Transactions. The attorneys also regularly represent clients throughout Pennsylvania, including Lebanon County, Carbon County, Lehigh County, Luzerne County, Northumberland County, Dauphin County, and Berks County.

Bio:
Attorney Eckrote graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. She earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, PA. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is a Notary Public.
During her time in law school, Attorney Eckrote interned for the Honorable James Gibbons at the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas, the York County District Attorney’s Office and the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office. She also worked as a part time law clerk at the law firm of Handler, Henning & Rosenberg. Additionally, she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society, served as Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, and was a Widener Student Ambassador.
Prior to working at the law office of Williamson, Friedberg, & Jones, LLC, Attorney Eckrote worked at the law office of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, in Williamsport, PA, where she focused primarily on the areas of estate planning and asset protection planning.
Attorney Eckrote was born and raised in Luzerne County. She is a graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School. Her hobbies include reading, running, and cooking.
Attorney Eckrote primarily practices out of the firm’s Pottsville and Shenandoah offices, but is available at the Orwigsburg office by appointment.
