Douglas J. Taglieri, a former Assistant District Attorney, has tried over 25 criminal jury trials to verdict and has argued appeals before both the Superior Court and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Attorney Taglieri’s practice focuses on criminal defense where he offers vigorous representation to all clients.
He provides legal counsel for traffic and other summary offenses, such as Disorderly Conduct and Underage Drinking, in the Magisterial District Courts. Attorney Taglieri’s most extensive experience rests in the Court of Common Pleas, or trial court level, where he represents clients for all types of criminal offenses including DUI, Drug Delivery and Manufacturing, Theft, Assault, Burglary, Robbery and Criminal Homicide. He is Certified Defense Counsel for cases in which the Commonwealth is seeking the Death Penalty. Additionally, Attorney Taglieri represents clients in Post-Trial and Post-Conviction matters, as well as appeals to both the Superior Court and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
In addition to criminal defense, Attorney Taglieri’s other areas of practice include: guardianship proceedings, protection from abuse (PFA) actions, bankruptcy, powers of attorney, wills, living wills, landlord/tenant disputes, driver’s licensing matters, and civil litigation.
