Title Searcher

Position available for a part-time title searcher for a busy title insurance business.

Must be a self-starter, able to work unsupervised, dependable and proficient in handling work requiring attention to detail.

Should possess skills in being able to prioritize assignments from various supervisors, completing tasks and shifting focus as required.

Advanced computer skills with the ability to search public records online as well as in the courthouse

Able to work as a team.

Should be able to provide clear, concise, and accurate written and verbal communication.

Conduct court record investigations including current owner searches, UCCs, mortgage and lien filings, bring-downs, etc.

Must be well-organized and efficient at meeting deadlines.

Experience preferred, but not necessary.

Must possess valid PA Driver’s license and submit to a background check

Training available.

Billing Specialist

The candidate should be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Training will be provided to learn specialized legal billing and accounting software as well as generating reports.

Should possess experience or training in bookkeeping and basic accounting.

The candidate should also have:

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Productivity without continuous oversight

Familiarity with legal terminology is helpful.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

The candidate will be working with a small team.

This position could evolve into a higher level of responsibility and dependent upon the employee’s abilities, success in the current position and development within the firm.
