Inheritance Tax Amnesty Program

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue is currently administering a tax amnesty program to allow individuals and businesses to pay past-due taxes, with the Commonwealth waiving all penalties and half of the interest.

This amnesty period runs from April 21, 2017  through June 19, 2017.

The 2017 PA Tax Amnesty Program
A limited-time opportunity offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for individuals and businesses to get relief from delinquent state taxes.
NO PENALTIES and only half the interest
Apply and pay the back tax by June 19 and all penalties will be waived and the interest cut in half.
APPLYING IS EASY
Apply on this website or call toll-free 1-844-727-8283. All required tax returns must be filed before the program ends.
ELIGIBLE TAXES
All taxes administered by the Department of Revenue are eligible for tax amnesty. Review the Tax Amnesty Program Guidelines for a complete list. Federal taxes and local taxes – including property taxes – are ineligible.
AVOID ADDITIONAL PENALTIES
After June 19 an additional 5 percent penalty will be added to eligible taxpayers who do not participate.
I RECEIVED A LETTER
As a courtesy, letters will be mailed to the last known address of taxpayers eligible for tax amnesty. The letter explains how to apply and make the payment.
