A new Fund has been announced to help small business owners who are suffering as a result of the Pandemic. The Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association announced the creation of the Pennsylvania 30 Day Fund. Small businesses that qualify would be entitled to a forgivable loan of $3,000.00. To be eligible, the small business must meet the following requirements:
Employ between 3 and 30 people
Based in PA and operating for at least a year
Owned and operated by a PA resident
Operate as a for-profit business.
Business owners do not need to be repaid. However, those that can may choose to “pay it forward” by paying the loan back to the Fund to be used to help another struggling business in the Commonwealth.
